Alesia Ferguson, Ph.D.

Dr. Ferguson is the Chair of the Built Environment at North Carolina A&T. Her research interests are in Exposure and Health Risk Assessment, Outreach and Education, Lead and Healthy Homes.

Dr. Ferguson received an NSF grant, RAPID: Decision-Making Processes in STEM Students during and after the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Dr. Ferguson received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Florida International University, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Environmental Engineering & Science / from Stanford University, and an M.S. in Public Health from the University of Arkansas.

Dr. Ferguson will present on, “What does student resilience look like, and mean in STEM during COVID?”
